Newly picked Biluochun Tea will be available and come into the market in a large quantity from March 16. The premium Biluochun tea is estimated to be priced at RMB7500 yuan per 500 grams, while the supreme one is likely to reach RMB20000 yuan per 500 grams.
As one of China’s top ten tea brands, Biluochun tea grown in the Dongting Mountain Area is world-famous for its delicate appearance, bright color, strong aroma and light taste. It also smells fruity since the tea trees are planted alongside orange trees, red bayberry trees, loquat trees and many other fruit trees.
This year’s Biluochun crop is expected to grow slightly from last year. With the tea entering the market, 2022 Wuzhong Taihu Lake Culture and Tourism Festival & Dongting Mountain Biluochun Tea Culture Festival will kick off soon. Please stay tuned.
Tips
The water used to make a cup of Biluochun shouldn’t be too hot, and boiled water of 80 to 85 degrees Celsius is preferable. You can first add water into the cup and then put some tea leaves into it; the tea is ready for tasting after the leaves unfold bit by bit.
