World Wetlands Day, celebrated annually on February 2, aims to raise global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and planet. This day also marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on February 2 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar.

Taihu Lake Wetland Park苏州太湖国家湿地公园 is adjacent to Zhenhu Town, the hometown of embroidery in China. It is not only a kingdom of plants, but a tribe of cute animals, including giant pandas and sika deer.

Tongli National Wetland Park同里国家湿地公园occupies 972.18 hectares, and 85.41 percent of its area are wetlands (830.33 hectares). With watercourses extending towards all directions, Tongli National Wetland Park owns vast expanses of forests and is home to more than 160 species of birds. It has also established courses on nature since 2014 to carry out themed activities all year round.
