Work on Suzhou’s first complex featuring an indoor ski resort is in progress, with construction on the structure and the main body due to be finished this May and September, respectively.
Covering an area of 18,000 square meters, the ski resort is comprised of two parts, namely skiing zone and recreational zone. It can receive a maximum of 2,100 visitors per day.
With an area of around 8,800 square meters, the skiing zone has different ski slopes to suit people of all levels. There are also professional trainers giving onsite instruction. The recreational zone, occupying about 900 square meters, offers a myriad of snow and ice activities and is a perfect place to enjoy family time.
Besides the ski resort, the complex sitting next to the Suzhou campus of Nanjing University南京大学(苏州校区), which is also under construction, also boasts a luxury hotel, a business and cultural block, and a high-end apartment.
Up to now, several buildings including the hotel and the apartment have been roofed, and the project is scheduled to be completed next year.
