2023 Changshu Shanghu Half Marathon will kick off at the entrance of Shanghu Scenic Area尚湖风景区 at 8:30 a.m. on October 29. The registration has started and will end at 3 p.m., September 5.
Field Size
Male/Female Half Marathon (21.0975 km): 7,000 runners
Male/Female Health Run (about 10 km): 3,000 runners
Age Requirements
1. Half marathon participants must be born before December 31, 2007;
2. Health run participants must be born before December 31, 2011;
3. Minor participants must have the Registration Statement signed by their guardian;
4. Participants above 65 must have the Registration Statement signed by their lineal relative.
Draw
A draw will be carried out when the number of applicants exceeds the field size. The result will be announced at 10 a.m., September 12.
Draw-free Applicants
Applicants who meet the following requirements will directly qualify for the race without participating in the draw:
1. Runners who finished within 1h 30m for male half marathon and 1h 50m for female half marathon at 2022 Changshu Shanghu Half Marathon;
2. Runners who finished within 3h 10m for male marathon, 3h 50m for female marathon, 1h 30m for male half marathon, and 1h 50m for female half marathon at 2022 No. 1 Road Around Taihu Lake Marathon;
3. Runners who finished within 1h 30m for male half marathon and 1h 50m for female half marathon at 2023 Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon.
