Restoration of Peace The Four Faces of Han Dynasty Civilization

It’s a special exhibition that features up to 228 pieces of collection from Nanjing Museum, Henan Museum and nine other museums. 

 The Fair Ladies of Jiangnan Paintings of Female Images from the Suzhou Museum

As a special motif among traditional Chinese figure paintings, the portrayal of fair ladies has become an independent branch no later than the mid-Tang dynasty. Suzhou Museum has selected 17 paintings of fair ladies since the Qing dynasty from its collection. The composition of the painting is either focused on one corner of the courtyard or the inside of the chamber, or depicting the greens or landscapes, decorated with rock, bamboo and plants like willow and plum blossoms.

The performance “North of the River” is designed to showcase the beauty and time-honored charm of Hebei. Through the combination of various instruments, the music presents a panoramic view of the long history of Hebei.
