Suzhou Bay Digital Art Museum苏州湾数字艺术馆, a newly built museum in Suzhou Bay Cultural Centre in Wujiang, will officially open to the public on Mar. 11.
With a total investment of 180 million yuan (approx. $25.9 million), the museum has a floorage of around 14,000 square meters, among which some 5,000 square meters of area is used for exhibition. Based on cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, the digitalization of the museum is conducive to the immersive experiences for visitors.
A standing exhibition on the future world will make its debut on Mar. 11. By adopting sensor and display technologies, virtual engine, and artificial intelligence, a metaverse space is presented to offer a multi-sensory experience, integrating arts, science and education.
An original scientific exhibition and an upgraded edition of “A Dream Journey through a Panorama of Rivers and Mountains” shown for the first time in the Yangtze River Delta will both open to the public on the opening day.
