Digital-track trains produced by CRRC Suzhou Co., Ltd. are to be exported to Mexico soon. The company was awarded the production of the exhibited digital-track trains of metro lines 4, 5 and 6 of Monterrey, Mexico this January.
Monterrey is the largest industrial city of Mexico and an important industrial and commercial center in the world. The upcoming metro lines 4, 5 and 6 are expected to become the main part of the city’s transport network and contribute to the FIFA Wold Cup 2026.
“Digital-track trains” run on digitalized virtual tracks, apply new energy, advanced hinge joints and other world-leading technologies, and have such advantages as longer battery life, quick charging and fewer investments in power supply units. The operation is smarter, faster, safer and, with rubber tires, cheaper.
CRRC Suzhou Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd. and its production base in Suzhou. It can produce up to 50 trains with low and middle volumes and 384 metro trains annually.
