In Suzhou, love stories can be found everywhere. Taohuawu, the witness of the marriage between Taoyin and Qiuxiang; Canglang Pavilion, records Shen Fu and Yun Niang’s ordinary and full of love in life; Humble Administrator’s garden, leaving a good time for Baodai prototype of a dream of Red Mansions.
Mu Du’s name is also because of love.
In the spring and Autumn period, Fu Chai, king of Wu, built palaces and platforms to please beautiful women but blocked them with building blocks. This is not a decent love story, but it has retained Mudu’s 2500 years.
01 Feel four seasons of Mudu from line 5 subway
At the end of June, line 5 was opened to Suzhou traffic, with 34 stations in the whole process. Only six of them have theme walls, and lingyanshan station is one of them.
As one of the six facades, the “Gusu twelve Niangs” theme wall of lingyanshan station has won unanimous praise for its elegant color matching and profound cultural connotation. Since then, Mudu has one more place must visit.

Climbing the top of Lingyan mountain, the rising sun brings strong vitality. It seems to coincide with the figure standing here in the past, shuttling through 2500 years of history.
It is often said that one leaf knows the autumn. As one of the four Maple appreciation resorts in China, when the first leaf turns red that you will know the autumn of Mudu also follows.
Maple leaves are blowing in the wind or floating on the lake. They are moving, but they bring a quiet mood, so there is an endless stream of tourists.
The last maple leaf of Tianping mountain fell, and the winter of Mudu came. In this season, the scenery in the second house of Feng Guifen, a famous enlightenment thinker in modern times, is quite unique.
In summer, the lotus here is in full bloom, and the scenery is everywhere. Especially the white lotus, which is pure and eye-catching.
It’s not just this place, it has the same name as Shantang street in Suzhou, Mudu also has a Shantang street. This street has a simple style of returning to nature.
Along the street, you may see local specialty shops for ten years, barbershops for thirty years, teahouses for fifty years……
The straw sandals hanging by the door inherit the ancient craft and leave memories. Everywhere in Mudu ancient town after wearing them for thousands of years.
02 The feeling of Mudu people from a piece of sugar and a bowl of noodles
It is said that Mudu is a big food town seriously underestimated. A piece of pine nut candy, a bowl of noodles, and a spoonful of black rice all hide the long feelings of Mudu people.
After passing Shantang street in Mudu ancient town, jinleyuan, which sells Soviet-style specialties, you can not be missed.
Jinleyuan’s main product is pine kernel zongzi sugar. As soon as they came out of the pot, they lined up. Most of the old customers were neighbors and customers on the Internet.
The authentic pine kernel zongzi sugar is chewed down and tastes delicious.
Noodle is also one of the characteristics of Su Bang cuisine.
The most famous is a bowl of noodles with the pork chop, this is why most diners come here. If they come late, it may be sold out.
Put the pork chop into the oil pan, turn it over and over until it is cooked, remove it, and put it into the special sauce to remove the greasiness immediately.
No matter what season you come here, it will guide you in the direction of drooling.
