Sun Wu Memorial Park transforms Sun Wu’s brilliant achievements into eternal cultural identity by telling Sun Wu’s historical stories and inheriting the theoretical knowledge of Sun Zi’s art of war.
In Sun Wu Memorial Park, commemoration is not only the admiration and worship of the sages but also a space-time dialogue penetrating into daily life. You can go to Sun Wu cemetery or sacrifice square to worship with reverence.
You can also go into Sun Wu’s exhibition hall to see 300 copies of Sun Tzu’s art of war printed and published from different countries, languages, and periods at this gathering, read the breadth and depth of its content and feel its profound thought, rich support, and careful logic.
Walking out of the exhibition hall and strolling along the story corridor of Sun Wu, you can enjoy the life stories of Bing Sheng with pictures and texts.
Of course, walking into the park on the west side of the tomb area, visiting Bingsheng lake, and watching Bingsheng fishing is also a good choice. Here, you can feel the mountains, rivers, and trees to repose your feelings.
Wen Zhengming Memorial Park
After worshiping the soldier Saint Sun Wu, we can come to the memorial garden of Wen Zhengming, one of the four Ming families and the leader of the “Wumen painting school”.
Wenzhengming memorial park consists of wenzhengming exhibition hall, wenteng garden, Yuqing mountain room, wenzhengming art corridor, wenzhengming tomb area and other components, integrating cultural and historical exhibition, literary and artistic appreciation, cultural and creative experience and literary meditation.
The round flower bed on the periphery of Wen Zhengming memorial garden is directly connected to Wen Zhengming cemetery. The tomb path is 28.5 meters long, like a brush, the memorial archway is like a penholder, and the pond in front is like an inkstone, reflecting the lifelong pursuit of culture by scholars.
After visiting the historical sites, I went into the exhibition hall of Wen Zhengming, carefully read the excellent works, appreciate Wen Zhengming’s life story, and feel the Literati Spirit of that era.
Wen Zhengming and his family’s cultural and artistic achievements are famous all over the world and have lasted for generations, which is closely related to the excellent family style of the Wen family.
The second exhibition hall of Wen Zhengming focuses on Wen Zhengming, the core figure of Wen family, highlighting the cultural themes of Wen family style, family education, family learning, family morality, family collection, and family letters, so as to convey the value of family-style.
Walking into Wen Zhengming’s elegant room and jade chime mountain room, it seems that Wen Zhengming can read and paint, play piano and poetry, taste tea and play chess with his friends. Feel the symbiosis between literati and Soviet style gardens.
