Taihu Bridge
With a total length of 4,308 meters, Taihu Bridge (太湖大桥) consists of three large bridges: No.1 Bridge is the longest one, measuring 1,768 meters; No. 2 Bridge is the highest as its center hole is 22.5 meters tall; No. 3 Bridge is the most exquisite, looking like floating on the water.
Yuyang Mountain (渔洋山), the starting point of the route, is a peninsula with three sides facing the lake. It is shaped like a turtle’s head and has been a wonderful place to view the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake in Suzhou since ancient times.
You can expect to encounter with more scenic spots along the road circling Xishan Island, including Dongcun Ancient Village (东村古村), the solemn and sacred Yuwang Temple (禹王庙) and Baoshan Zen Temple (包山禅寺), Shigong Mountain (石公山) with special rocks, the fascinating Piaomiao Peak (缥缈峰), Linwu Cave (林屋洞) with strange structure, etc.

Taihu Blue
Huantaihu Road (环太湖公路, Suzhou Taihu National Tourism Vacation Zone section) starts from Guangfu Town and ends at Taihu Bridge, with a total length of 23 kilometers. It is known as “Taihu Blue” because there are bicycle lanes covered with blue antiskid coating.

Lakeside Red
The footpath of Binhu Avenue (滨湖大道) starts from Linhu Town and ends in Dongshan Town. It is famous for its red pavement, which complements the blue sky and clear water.

Dongshan Huanshan Road
On one side of the road, there are Jiangnan-style villages with white walls and grey tiles, and on the other, there is the breathtaking view of Taihu Lake. You can also pay a visit to the scenic spots along the road, including Qi Garden (启园), Luxiang Ancient Village (陆巷古村), Zijin Temple (紫金庵), etc.
